The CABO 500 2024 qualifications are now complete!
For the first-time in desert racing history in 2023, the CABO 500 & CABO 1000 2024 established night qualifications!
Over the past two nights, in completely different racing conditions, the first desert racing night qualifications were completed.
Starting at 11:59 PM Sunday, August 6, just after a tropical storm rolled by Los Cabos Mexico, the CABO 500 2024 quals went down.
Starting at 11:59 PM Saturday night, August 5, an excited group of international sports people (men and women) started just before midnight, under a mostly moonless, perfect desert night sky, completing the CABO 1000 quals.
After nearly two and one half hours each night, the starting field is set for the next CABO 500, fall of '24 and the CABO 1000 in 2025, Spring season racing.
